Notes From Below Issue 22 Launch: Worker Centres

Talks & Debates
Event poster for the Notes from Below Issue 22 launch party titles Worker Centres: Locations of class power. It features a panel discussion, bar, and social gathering on Tuesday, 5 November at 6 PM, located at Pelican House, E1 5QJ. The poster includes an image of a high-rise building.

Join us for the launch of our latest issue, ‘Worker Centres: Locations of Class Power’.

This issue explores worker centres, place-based organisations that often focus on supporting low-wage or migrant workers who are not already in unions. This forms part of an ongoing Notes from Below project to support worker organising in Tower Hamlets, London.

This includes interviews about organising in Tower Hamlets, previous projects in London, worker centres in Montréal, the US, and South Africa, as well as social centres in Italy.

We will have a panel with contributors speaking, followed by a social with a bar afterwards!
