Newroz (Kurdish New Year’s celebration) has a rich history of hope and resistance. With the coming of Spring, a new year, new possibilities and hope will blossom.
Across Kurdistan and the world, fires are lit to welcome the new year. This draws back to heroic struggle of political prisoners resisting Fascism and continuing to struggle under any conditions laid upon them. With this spirit of hope, we invite to a night filled with celebration of life and struggle of community and culture.
With DJ sets, traditional dance and community space – share special moments with our lovely guest artists and welcoming community. We are raising funds for the political prisoners’ struggle too so we ask for generous donations!
